The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, it is not something for you to take up if you are not a more experienced bike rider who puts in long rides almost every day. The Isle of Wright Challenge is an option that has several different lengths. The longest one is 106km in length, while there are also 54km or a 32km option. Now, it is said that you are able to run, jog or walk it, but chances are, you probably don’t want to walk 106km (that might take you a very long time to complete).
The Brighton Marathon is the second largest marathon that takes place inside of the London area, plus it is rather flat, so it is a faster race. Now, if you are looking for something different from running and bicycling, yet don’t want to jog through mud or climb up slopes and scale buildings, there are other options available to you. Perhaps you are more of a swimmer and you want to give back while swimming. You can do this with the Great Manchester Swim. All of the money that is raised here goes towards cancer research. It is also one of the newer events, so it is important for you to take advantage of these charity challenges, otherwise it may not stay on the calendar. On the other hand, if you are more of an extreme sports enthusiast and running or riding a bicycle on its own is not enough, you need to look towards a triathlon. There are several different triathlons on the schedule that are sure to work your entire body, all while allowing you to give money back to charity. There is the South Coast Triathlon, which allows you to swim along the South Coast. The City of Birmingham Triathlon is a popular event, and while there is incredibly beautiful scenery to check out when taking part in the event. Lastly, there is the London Triathlon. This is the most popular of all the three. In fact, it is the world’s largest and most iconic triathlon. So, if you are looking to take part in one of the most important charity events in the entire world, this is the way to go. Just remember that you need to register well in advance for this particular event, and even so, there are a limited number of available spots due to the popularity of it. You might be better off completing a few other triathlons ahead of this. It is not always the best spot for first timers.

Now, there are some people who are not able to compete in these different events, and other times there are people who just do not like the extreme conditions or athletic activities. While 2014 is quickly coming to a close, it does not mean you are unable to enjoy in some of the different charity events taking place throughout 2015.
